Still not sure what to make of the “WSoF” its only their second card and I should be happy that more MMA is becoming free and that more fans are seeing it. I just don’t understand what the “WSoF” should be… It was 1st billed as a million dollar tournament, which would have crushed Bellator and maybe even scare the UFC. Instead the tournament has been scraped and it seems like they are just eating the UFC’s left overs, maybe the “WSoF” will be great in time but till then its just another minor organization….

Aside from that it was a decent card def worth the amount of money you paid :) Anthony Johnson got a 3 round win against Arlovski, but its a really blah fight for both…. 1st of all Johnson is not a Heavyweight he is more of a Light Heavyweigt/Middleweight so a win over a Heavyweight really means nothing in terms of an eventual UFC return, and for Arlovski dude why the take a lose-lose fight in the 1st place… Had Arlovski won, he beat a Middleweight-ish fighter and now he lost to a Middleweight-ish fighter… Dumb idea for a former great.

After a long break Tyson Nam returned to an MMA cage after beating Bellator champion Eduardo Dantas, only to be trucked by Marlon Moraes in the 1st round. The rest of the main card is as follows below.

Heavyweight – Anthony Johnson (15-4) def. Andrei Arlovski (19-10-1NC) – Decision (unanimous)
Bantamweight – Marlon Moraes (10-4-1) def. Tyson Nam (12-5) – KO (high kick and punches) 1rd (2:55)
Middleweight – Dave Branch (12-3) def. Paulo Filho (23-5-2) – Decision (unanimous)
Welterweight – Josh Burkman (25-9) def. Aaron Simpson (12-5) – KO (knee & punches) 1rd (3:04)
Lightweight – Justin Gaethje (8-0) def. Gesias Cavalcante (17-7-1) – TKO (doctor stoppage) 1rd (2:27)
