Heavyweights Ben Rothwell and Gabriel Gonzaga stepped in to the octagon next and it was a bad fight, Rothwell was overpowered and out matched till the fight ended. Gonzaga ended the fight with a quick guillotine choke early in the second round.
The Co-main event between C.B. Dollaway and Daniel Sarafian was “fight of the night” it was a back and forth contest between the much taller Dollaway and the stronger Sarafian. Sarafia was able to land some hard shots but in the end lost a close split decision.
The Main event was set for Michael Bisping to win and get a title shot against Anderson Silva. Instead the upset went down and Vitor Belfort walked away with the win. 1:27 in the second round, Belfort had made Bisping see stars and now has muddled a once almost clear Middleweight contender.
