Lightweight – Ross Pearson (14-6) So Pearson returned to Lightweight and faced a tough BJJ black belt in George Sotiropoulos (14-5) and pretty much dominated. You have wonder if Pearson is back? After the fight he was talking about a better Ross Pearson is back at 155, A fight between John Makdessi (10-2) vs. Ross Pearson (14-6) could be entertaining
Welterweight – Robert Whittaker (10-2) After being exciting in the TUF house he encountered tougher competition, Whittaker was able to just edge out the young Brad Scott. Question is who the hell should he fight next? Dan Miller (14-6-1NC) vs. Robert Whittaker (10-2) a fight with a cagey vet like Miller might be a good way to learn something about the young pup
Lightweight – Norman Parke (17-2) A young and interesting fighter and winner of TUF Smashes really looked good in the house and in his 1st fight in the UFC, but it leaves us to ponder what is next for this young buck. Rustam Khabilov (15-1) vs. Norman Parke (17-2) would be great, time lines match both guys looked really great in there debuts as well.
Middleweight – Hector Lombard (32-3-1-1NC) Wow oh wow, you know we expected this performance but wow he made it look good. Lombard owned every second of the fight and looked completely different from his 1st fight in the Octagon. Michael Bisping vs. Hector Lombard wont happen unless there is an injury to Belfort and it’s short notice. Cung Le (9-2) vs. Hector Lombard (32-3-1-1NC) is more likely and would be a hell of a fight!
