UFC on FX 2 Weigh In’s took place at Sydney’s Allphones Arena which aired live on Fuel TV.
In the main even we will see Thiago Alves take on Martin Kampmann in what is sure to be a very exciting main event. Thiago Alves weighed in at 170.5 LBS. and Martin Kampmann also weighed in at 170.5 LBS. In the past Alves has had trouble making weight but he looked great tonight and showed no signs of struggling to make the limit.
The first ever flyweight match within the UFC will take place as well. Not just one but two match up’s under the new weight class will go down at UFC on FX 2.
The first of the two flyweight match up’s will feature Ian McCall would weighed in at 125.5 LBS taking on Demetrious Johnson who also weighed in at 125.5 LBS.
The second of the two flyweight matches will feature Yasuhiro Urushitani who weighed in at 125.5 LBS vs. Joseph Benavidez, who just like the other three flyweights weighed in at 125.5 LBS.
The winners of those two match up’s will face off later in the year to crown the first ever UFC Flyweight Champion.
