The UFC 146 card has seen more ups and downs then a streaky gambler in a Vegas casino. Most all of the changes have come on the main card, but 2 fights have been changed one prelim and one main card bout has new fighters. Roy Nelson (16-7) is on what seems to be his 40th different opponent the past month with Gabriel Gonzaga stepping down due to injury.
Nelson will now take on Dave Herman (21-3), Herman a onetime Bellator and Sengoku fighter will be looking to come back after a TKO from Stefan Struve on UFC on Fuel 1. The other fight change has Edson Barboza (10-0) now taking on Jamie Varner (19-6-1-2NC), Varner an ex WEC champ was scheduled to fight for Legacy FC 11 later this month but looks like he will now have to pull out from Legacy’s card. Varner can think Evan Dunham for pulling out due to and injury as he will now make his return to the UFC.
