Matt Mitrione (5-1) and Rob Broughton (15-7-1) have been added to the LA card on August 4th. Sure to be a rocking card, LA will be the home to 3 Heavyweight fights.
Broughton won ZT fight night’s Heavyweight tournament by winning 3 fights in the same night, and also a M1 veteran. He is 1-2 in the UFC and has lost his last two fights against Phil De Fries and Travis Browne, both via unanimous decision.
Mitrione an ex-football player, and an ex ultimate fighter (season 10) quarter finalist, made his pro debut at the end of the season on the Heavyweight finale, and went on a tear winning his next 4 fights. He lost to the French kick boxer Cheick Kongo at UFC 137 via unanimous decision.
