The Maximum Fighting Championship has released middleweight Andreas Spang and welterweight Sheldon Westcott.

Both fighters have had their contracts bought out by their representation and are free to pursue other options.

“We wish both guys well in the future endeavors,” noted MFC Owner/President Mark Pavelich. “We want fighters in our organization who want to be a part of our future. Those that don’t want to be part of that are able to go their separate way.

“The MFC has a great number of fighters who are game to compete. We will only have fighters on our roster who want to be in exciting matchups and who aren’t afraid to take on any challenge laid out in front of them.”

MFC 32: Bitter Rivals goes down on Friday, January 27 at the Mayfield Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. Tickets are on sale now exclusively through the MFC Ticket Hotline at (780) 504-2024.
