By Josh Reese

UFC 150 in Colorado is gaining an excellent striking match, Justin Lawrence and Max Holloway have verbally agreed to meet up in the Octagon. The Lightweight championship belt will be up for grabs in a rematch between Benson Henderson and Frankie Edgar. So far 8 total bouts have been scheduled for the card, that will take place on August 11, 2012 at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Lawrence will be dropping down to 145 after competing at 155 during TUF, he is on a 4-0 roll to start his career. A young fighter at only 22 years old, was Team Cruz’s 1st pick on TUF Live and got wins against, James Krause, and Cristiano Marcello but was stopped by the eventual winner of the competition Michael Chiesa. He came back for the finale and posted a very nasty KO against John Cofer.

Holloway comes in to this fight like he does in most fights as the younger pup at only 20 years old he has already two UFC fights under his belt. He came at UFC 143 as a late notice fighter to face top Featherweight contender Dustin Poirier and was out classed that night tapping out to a mounted triangle armbar in the 1st round. His next fight came against Pat Schilling at the TUF finale and went on to out class Pat with his boxing and came close a few times to earning a KO but Schilling proved to be a tougher out then he originally thought earning a unanimous decision win.
