Fights to make after UFC 154

By Josh Reese

The fights are over and after some thought these are the fights that Joe Silva and the UFC should make, the main card was a really good fight card and filled with lots of excitement, the fights I picked are fights I thought would do the same….

Georges St-Pierre (23-2) This fight is one that has been in the making for a long time, GSP and Anderson Silva are on a crash course and should happen in May-ish

Carlos Condit (28-6) A loss to GSP is not the end of the world, but who should he face next? A couple of decent options could be a rematch with Nick Diaz, or Josh Koscheck.

Johny Hendricks (14-1) He has stated he will sit till GSP comes back, but what if the UFC gives him a chance to fight for an Interim belt while GSP is away fighting Silva….. If so Hendricks vs the winner of Demian Maia vs. Jon Fitch (I have heard worse options)

Martin Kampmann (20-6) After that brutal KO he needs a win to get back in the mix, which ever fight Condit doesn’t take Kampmann should take they would be good options either way

Francis Carmont (20-7) Did not really set the world on fire with his win over Lawlor, one more fight till he is a top MW Brad Tavares vs. Carmont would be interesting…

Tom Lawlor (8-5-1NC) He looked rather decent against Carmont, a fight with Rafael Natal would be rally good both guys are active and both looking to get back in the win column

Rafael dos Anjos (18-6) I see a fight in Brazil in the future and who better then a bout Gleison Tibau, Tibau won a split decision the first go round can he do it again?

Mark Bocek (11-5) where is he in his career? Every time he takes a step up in competition he gets trucked my guess is he gets a lower ranked guy this go round maybe Anthony Njokuani would be slug oh war

Pablo Garza (12-3) is back baby! And he wants to drop to BW not a bad idea if he could do it, he would have an advantage over every fighter TJ Dillashaw would be an good fight Dillashaw a good BW and has beatin bigger guys

Mark Hominick (20-12) after 4 loses in a row doesn’t looked like he will get dropped, White loves his fighting he always brings it but now its more about making sure it’s a good fight not so much about wins and loses. A bout with Daniel Pineda would be exciting and might be a chance for Hominick to snag a win.
