UFC officials have announced that Eric Wisely (19-7 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will replace the injured Akira Corassani to take on Jason Young (8-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) at UFC on Fuel 2. UFC officials stated both fighters have verbally agreed to meet.

Young very well may be fighting for his job in this bout as he has had two fights so far in the UFC and both of them are losses. His UFC debut was against now possible featherweight title contender, Dustin Poirier at UFC 131 where he lost by decision and he also loss by unanimous decision at UFC 138 against Michihiro Omigawa.

Eric Wisely is looking for his first UFC win as well as he is coming off of a submission loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC on Fox 2 back in January. That is where we saw Oliveira pull out a calf slicer submission 1:43 into the 1st round.

UFC on Fuel 2 takes place Saturday, April 14th in Stockholm, Sweden at the Ercsson Globe Arena. The fight card is headlined by rising star and Stockholm native, Alexander Gustafsson vs. Rogerio Nogueira.
