Tonight Bellator is back and with the Light Heavyweight title on the line, after the what could have been called the best Bellator card of the year they will try to duplicate last weeks success. They have yet to fall below 700k in the all important ratings game and no doubt after last weeks great fights they should pick up some more viewers on interest alone. Champ M’Pumbu is coming of a loss (Non Title fight) and has not fought in well over a year, challenger Vegh on the other hand is coming of a great 2012 with 4 wins 2 by way of an under min stoppage but 2 by way of a split decision.
The Co-Main and the super Co-Main event feature 2 lightweight semi final fights. In the 1st fight we have David Rickels taking on Jason Fischer and no this isn’t ground hog day, the both faced each other recently were Rickels took home the unanimous decision. No telling who the recent fight will help more but as a short notice replace Fischer is going to be the underdog.
Will Brooks vs. Saad Awad will lock it up, Awad is riding high after not even being invited to fight in the tournament. Awad replaced Patricio Freire and never looked back, Brooks on the other hand is still just a baby in MMA competition started back in 2011 and is still with out a loss at 9-0
