Bellator 76 Featherweight Tournament

Bellator 76 will include a Lightweight match between Eddie Alvarez and Patricky Freire and the Featherweight tournament. So Caesars Windsor in Canada will host possibly the last ever Bellator fight for Alvarez. This will be the 3rd tournament of 4 this year, on the swan song of Bellator’s MTV2 tour before they turn on over too Spike.

Rad Martinez (12-2) vs. Nazareno Malegarie (22-2)
Martinez will be making his 1st Bellator tourney appearance after 3 wins in a row, including two wins in Bellator was a NCAA wrestler. Malegarie 19-0 before he experienced his 1st taste at losing, but he ran into a problem in his 2 tournament tires he ran into top 145’ers in Marlon Sandro and Daniel Straus in his 22 wins has only been to a decision 2 times.

Wagnney Fabiano (14-3) vs. Akop Stepanyan (12-3)
Fabiano the elder has not fought since 2010 in lost to hard hitting Flyweight Joseph Benavidez, while ending his career at 135 he is going back to 145. Stepanyan started his career 0-3 but since then has ran off 12 in a row, and will make his American and Bellator debut this Friday.

Mike Richman (12-1) vs. Jeremy Spoon (12-1)
Richman’s only loss in his career was a split decision, and owns 11 finishes he is the winner of 3 in a row. Spoon first and only loss of his career came to 100,000 tournament winner Daniel Straus has finished 9 of his 12 fights.

Shahbulat Shamhalaev (9-1-1) vs. Cody Bollinger (13-2-1NC)
Shamhalaev like his follow Russian fighter also on the card is making his Bellator and USA debut, started his career at 2009 and his only loss is to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Bollinger is riding a 6 fight non losing streak he owns lots of 4’s, 4 KO’S 4 subs and 4 decisions.
