Rory MacDonald (13-1) is coming of a win over UFC new comer Che Mills at UFC 145 via a TKO in the second round. MacDonald a young prospect is in need of a step up in competition, he is on the outside of the top ten. He yesterday said “Right now I feel there’s a guy that I want to fight before he leaves the sport and that’s B.J. Penn,” he said on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour. “That’s a guy I really want to fight. I respect him a lot. He’s a legend and I think it’d be a really good matchup for me to have that fight in Toronto.” Penn in response simply said “Rory, I accept your challenge!”

The bout could be headed for the main card, and could be the main event of the main eventless UFC 152. B.J. Penn (16-8-2) has been back and forth between Middleweight, Welterweight and Lightweight. Penn has also held the Lightweight belt twice, and is (1-1-1) in his last three fights, with a win to Matt Hughes, and draw to Jon Fitch and a loss to Nick Diaz.
